Instructions

Using a virtual environment to create a Dynamic (Multi-platform) image is recommended. In this manner, Image Assist helps create a cross-platform deployable Windows image. In the video tutorial, we demonstrate how to create a VM reference image that will progress to your factory image for deployment.

Image Assist Dynamic supports Hyper-V and the two most recent versions of VMware Workstation. Other VM technology solutions may be supported but have not been fully validated with Image Assist Dynamic.

 

VM Specifications for Image Assist Dynamic.

  • The host machine should have at least 32 GB RAM, i5 or faster CPU & 100 GB free diskspace (solid state drive is recommended)
  • The VM requires a minimum of 4 GB RAM, 100 GB disk space and 4 CPU's.
