Dell Command Configure is Slow and Does Not Read BIOS Information

Symptoms:
- UI is slow to load.
- Reports from the BIOS of a local computer are not possible and end with a warning message to change at least one value.
- BIOS settings from the local computer are not loaded.
Cause
The issue is related to an Intel security vulnerability in CPU ucode that was fixed with BIOS v1.1.15 and later. The change causes a timeout when the UI accesses the BIOS settings, causing it to load slowly and not read any values.
Resolution
Dell engineering is aware of the issue and has released a fix, update to DCC v5.0.1.3, A00 or later.
