Symptoms

成功向 PowerProtect Data Manager 注册 Linux AIX 服务器后，后续发现作业可能会失败，并显示以下错误：

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

IPv6 是 /etc/hosts Linux AIX 服务器上缺少或注释掉的文件。

Resolution
