ECS: Hoe xDoctor te activeren met behulp van speciale SMTP en dial-home-waarschuwingen in te schakelen wanneer er geen SCG-verbinding beschikbaar is

Summary: De ECS-naar-SCG-verbinding mislukt als gevolg van tijdelijke problemen met de synchronisatie van Dell assetrecords en in sommige andere gevallen is de SCG-verbinding niet toegestaan (dark sites). In dergelijke situaties kan xDoctor niet worden geactiveerd. Zonder activering van xDoctor zal ECS geen dial-home-waarschuwingen verzenden of in xDoctor/CLM verschijnen, aangezien xDoctor SMTP gebruikt om waarschuwingen aan CLM te melden. Daarom wordt er een e-mail naar de ontvanger gestuurd wanneer een waarschuwing wordt gegenereerd, er wordt geen dial-home-serviceverzoek gegenereerd zonder xDoctor-portaal en CLM-connectiviteit. In dit KB-artikel worden de stappen uitgelegd om xDoctor te activeren met behulp van een speciale SMTP-server in plaats van SCG. Elke SCG-gateway heeft een geïntegreerde SMTP-server. Instructions

Opmerking: Toegewezen SMTP-configuraties hebben beperkingen bij het genereren van DialHome SR voor ECS native waarschuwingen. Zo is het ontworpen. Om DialHome voor ECS-native waarschuwingen te genereren, gebruikt CLM de SCG-gateway. Aangezien speciale SMTP geen SCG heeft, is er geen DialHome-case gegenereerd door CLM.

Zie KB ECS: Er wordt geen DialHome SR gegenereerd voor systeemeigen ECS-waarschuwingen als alleen SMTP is geconfigureerd met betrekking tot de bovenstaande opmerking.
