ECS: Hvordan aktivere xDoctor ved hjelp av dedikert SMTP og aktivere oppringingsvarsler når SCG-tilkoblingen ikke er tilgjengelig

Summary: Tilkoblingen mellom ECS og SCG mislykkes på grunn av midlertidige problemer med synkronisering av Dell-ressursposter, og i enkelte andre tilfeller er SCG-tilkobling ikke tillatt (mørke områder). I slike situasjoner kan xDoctor ikke aktiveres. Uten xDoctor-aktivering vil ECS ikke sende oppringingsvarsler eller vises i xDoctor/CLM, ettersom xDoctor bruker SMTP til å rapportere varsler til CLM. Derfor sendes en e-post til mottakeren når et varsel genereres, ingen forespørsel om oppringingstjeneste genereres uten xDoctor-portal og CLM-tilkobling. Denne KB forklarer trinnene for å aktivere xDoctor ved hjelp av en dedikert SMTP-server i stedet for SCG. Hver SCG-gateway har en integrert SMTP-server. Instructions

Merk: Dedikerte SMTP-konfigurasjoner har begrensninger ved generering av DialHome SR for opprinnelige ECS-varsler. Det er slik sensoren er utformet. For å generere DialHome for opprinnelige ECS-varsler bruker CLM SCG-gatewayen. Siden dedikert SMTP ikke har SCG, ble ingen DialHome-sak generert av CLM.

Se KB ECS: Ingen DialHome SR genereres for innebygde ECS-varsler hvis bare SMTP er konfigurert i forhold til merknaden ovenfor.
