Symptoms

Een Latitude of Precision laptop kan in een opstartlus raken na het bijwerken van het BIOS. De BIOS-update veroorzaakt een probleem als Intel Total Memory Encryption (TME), Intel Trusted eXecution Technology (TXT) en SystemGuard SecureLaunch zijn ingeschakeld. Intel TME en Intel TXT worden bijgewerkt in het BIOS, terwijl SystemGuard SecureLaunch is ingeschakeld in het besturingssysteem.

Het Dell logo en de laadcirkel van het besturingssysteem worden weergegeven, waarna de computer opnieuw opstart. Dit herhaalt zich oneindig.

Windows Autorecovery wordt geladen na een opstartlus, maar het kan het probleem niet oplossen of het lost het op, maar dan is SystemGuard SecureLaunch uitgeschakeld.
