Symptoms

In the /var/log/vmware.logファイルには、次のようなエントリーが表示されます。    
Unable to create virtual scsi0:0.filters="esx_splitter",
Failed to attach filter scsi0:0.filters="esx_splitter": Not found.

Cause

RP4VMを使用して保護されている本番VMでは、ヴォールト内のリストア後に問題が発生する可能性があります。

この問題は通常、デスティネーションESXiホストに存在しないソースESXiホストにスプリッターがインストールされている場合に発生します。

Resolution

この問題を解決するには、次の手順に従います。     
  1. SSHとroot認証情報を使用して、仮想マシンがオンになっているESXiホストに接続します。
  2. 次のコマンドを使用して、仮想マシンの.vmxファイルに移動します。      
cd /vmfs/volumes/datastore/virtual_machine_folder/
  1. テキスト エディターで.vmxファイルを開きます。vi virtual_machine.vmx
  2. scsi0:0.filters="esx_splitter"を含むすべてのフィルターの前に#を追加します。
  3. 変更を保存し、テキスト エディターを終了します。
  4. 仮想マシンをオンにします。
