This procedure outlines how to enable MAJOR severity events:
Following the above allows for the specific event code inputted to trigger.
- Go to
<install_location>/SYMAPI/config/daemon_options
- Edit as below in daemon options to generate only 'MAJOR' severity events for particular event codes:
sid=000000xxxxxxx, <event code>, sev=major ;\ Example : sid=000000xxxxxxx, 1200, sev=major ;\
Following the above allows for the specific event code inputted to trigger.
