Microsoft Teams 2.0
The Microsoft Teams 2.0 client is configured to automatically launch on computers with Windows 11. This can slow down the start-up performance on computers with spindle hard disk drives (HDD).
Solution
To disable Microsoft Teams from starting automatically, disable its entry in the Task Manager’s Startup list:
- Right-click the Start menu.
- Select the "Task Manager" option.
- Go to the "Startup" tab.
- Select the "Microsoft Teams" entry.
- Click the "Disable" button.
- Close the "Task Manager" window.
- Restart Windows.
