La scheda Driver e download include i pacchetti software NetWorker per ciascun sistema operativo supportato. Questo articolo della Knowledge Base illustra come installare Linux per x64.

NOTA: Per scaricare NetWorker è necessario un account di supporto Dell.

Il pacchetto viene scaricato come nwVERSION_linux_architecture.tar.gz
Copiare il pacchetto NetWorker scaricato nell host Linux: NetWorker (Linux): Come copiare file da o verso un server NetWorker Linux
Una volta copiato il pacchetto sull host Linux, è possibile estrarlo utilizzando il comando tar : 
tar xvf PACKAGE

Il pacchetto compresso viene estratto in una nuova cartella linux_architettura.

Esempio: 
[root@lnx-srvr01 ~]# ls -l | grep linux
drwxr-xr-x 2 root games       4096 Oct  7 08:27 linux_x86_64

Modificare la directory nella cartella estratta utilizzando il comando cd :

Pacchetti NetWorker:

Nome del pacchetto Descrizione
lgtoclnt Software del client NetWorker. Richiesta per eseguire backup basati su client dell host Linux da un server NetWorker. I backup basati su client sono qualsiasi tipo di backup in cui l'host Linux è stato creato come voce client sul server NetWorker.  Il pacchetto client è richiesto quando si installa il software del server NetWorker, dello storage node e/o del software NetWorker Management Console (NMC) su un host.  
lgtoxtdclnt Software del client NetWorker esteso. Fornisce supporto per NetWorker Snapshot Management (NSM), integrazione di cluster, integrazione di script personalizzati e supporto dei moduli NetWorker. Altre funzioni sono descritte in dettaglio nella Guida all'installazione di NetWorker. I server NetWorker richiedono questo pacchetto.
lgtobbb

Utilizzata per eseguire BBB (Block-Based Backup) sull host Linux. Richiede Linux Standard Base (lsb) pacchetto. Ciò si ottiene tramite il repository del software del fornitore del sistema operativo. 
lgtoadpt Il pacchetto lgtoadpt è richiesto quando i client NetWorker Module for Microsoft (NMM) si trovano nella datazone di NetWorker.
lgtoauthc Servizio di autenticazione NetWorker (AUTHC). Richiesta dal servizio NetWorker Server per fornire funzionalità di autenticazione con le interfacce e le API NetWorker. Richiede l'ambiente di runtime NetWorker: Ambiente di runtime NetWorker (NRE): Introduzione e installazione 
lgtonode Software dello storage node NetWorker. Richiesta dal server NetWorker. Facoltativamente, può essere installato insieme al software client NetWorker per funzionare come storage node NetWorker "standalone". Lo storage node viene registrato in un server NetWorker esistente e viene usato per montare i dispositivi NetWorker. 
lgtoserv Software del server NetWorker. Utilizzata per configurare una datazone di protezione NetWorker.
Richiede lgtoclnt, lgtoxtdclnt, lgtoadpt, lgtoauthc, lgtonode.

Installazione:

Il seguente processo mostra il processo di installazione di Linux x64 come server NetWorker. I seguenti esempi di comando vengono eseguiti dalla cartella contenente il pacchetto NetWorker estratto.

Script di post-installazione:

NOTA: L'installazione di pacchetti come lgtoauthc, lgtonmc, lgtonwuiserv o lgtonwui richiede script di post-installazione. L'output dell'installazione riporta eventuali script di post-installazione che devono essere eseguiti. 

Script di configurazione di NetWorker Authentication (AUTHC): /opt/nsr/authc-server/scripts/authc_configure.sh

  • Configura il database AUTHC e i file di sistema: /nsr/authc e /opt/nsr/authc-server
  • Configura l'archivio chiavi e la password AUTHC.
  • Definisce le porte utilizzate dal servizio AUTHC (9090 predefinito).
  • Configura l'account utente e la password predefiniti di NetWorker Administrator.

Script di configurazione dell'interfaccia utente Web di NetWorker (NWUI): /opt/nwui/scripts/nwui_configure.sh

  • Configura il database NWUI e i file di sistema: /nsr/nwui e /opt/nwui
  • Configura l'archivio chiavi e la password NWUI.
  • Definisce le porte utilizzate dal servizio NWUI (predefinite 9095 e 5435)
  • Imposta il server di autenticazione utilizzato da NWUI.
  • Imposta il server NetWorker gestito da NWUI.

Script di configurazione di NetWorker Management Console (NMC):  /opt/lgtonmc/bin/nmc_config

  • Configura il database NMC e i file di sistema: /opt/nsr/nmc e /opt/lgtonmc
  • Configura il certificato utilizzato da NMC.
  • Definisce le porte utilizzate dal server NMC (predefinite 9000, 9001 e 5432)
  • Imposta il server AUTHC utilizzato per l'autenticazione NMC

Specify the directory where the Java Standard Edition Runtime Environment (JRE) software is installed [/opt/nre/java/latest]:

The installation process will install an Apache Tomcat instance.
For optimum security, EMC NetWorker Authentication Service will
use a non-root user (nsrtomcat) to start the Apache Tomcat instance.
If your system has special user security requirements, ensure that proper
operational permissions are granted to this non-root user (nsrtomcat).
Please refer to NetWorker Installation Guide.

The Apache Tomcat will use "lnx-srvr01.networker.lan" as the host name.
The Apache Tomcat will use "9090" as the port number.

The NetWorker Authentication Service requires a keystore file to configure encryption and to provide SSL support.

EMC recommends that you specify a keystore password that has a minimum of six characters.

The installation process will create a new keystore file.

The NetWorker Authentication Service defines automatically an administrator user account
named administrator in the NetWorker Authentication Service local database.
This account is specific to the administration of the NetWorker Authentication Service, and
is not related to other administrator accounts on this system.

Gestione dei servizi:

I servizi di NetWorker possono essere arrestati e avviati usando systemd. Ad esempio:

systemctl [ stop | start | restart ] networker
Oppure: 
service networker [ stop | start | restart ]

È anche possibile arrestare NetWorker utilizzando il seguente comando: 
nsr_shutdown
NOTA: La colonna nsr_shutdown Lo script e il servizio "networker" si applicano solo ai servizi client, storage node e server NetWorker. L'interfaccia utente web di NetWorker (NWUI) utilizza il proprio servizio (nwui) controllato in modo indipendente dai servizi di NetWorker. Il server NetWorker Management Console utilizza il proprio servizio (gst), controllato in modo indipendente dai servizi di NetWorker.
