Symptoms

When the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) mode is Automatic Select Mode, then is running the Elden Ring game. The game screen is smaller and autoexits when changing the screen resolution.

Affected Platforms:

  • G16 7630
  • G15 5530
  • Alienware x16 R1

 

Cause

NVIDIA does not add the Game Title (Elden Ring) support for this mode.

 

Resolution

Launch the NVIDIA Control Panel and switch to Optimus Mode or NVIDIA dGPU only and adjust the resolution in the game setting.
