The maximum expected IOPS and bandwidth for Block access ( FC & iSCSI) and File access (NFS & SMB Protocols) are different performance parameters
Below table gives us details about the maximum expected IOPS and bandwidth from the front-end ports which provide Block protocols (FC and iSCSI)
Below table provides maximum expected IOPS and bandwidth from the front-end ports which provide File protocols (NFS and SMB).
The above tables provide maximum expected IOPS and bandwidth from the different ports which are available in the Dell EMC Unity system. (Note that the capability of a port does not guarantee that the system can reach that level, nor does it guarantee that performance will scale with additional ports. System capabilities are highly dependent on other configuration parameters.)
For Migration projects it is always suggested to collect the actual speed from customer environment by doing test migration with test data because the actual data may vary depending on port utilization at existing storage environment.
The latest updates and changes in port performance are also available in the Dell EMC Unity Best practice guide Connectivity options session. You can refer the same from below link.
