嘗試使用 DPA 探索 Data Domain （DD） 時，會傳回下列錯誤訊息：
 

failed to open SNMP session for host



執行集合要求時，在 UI 除錯中，dpaagent.log傳回下列資訊：
 

DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105             com.snmp - aapiSNMPOpen(): Overriding SNMP timeout to 10 seconds
DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105             com.snmp - aapiSNMPOpen(): Failed to open SNMP session for host 'dd01.emc.lab', errno 0, snmp_error 'Unknown host (host_name)'
DBG1    12723.12723    20190724:144105         agent.mod.dd - perf_snmp(): aapiSNMPOpen() failed

Cause

DPA 代理程式無法解析 DD 主機名稱，因此無法連線至 DD 上的 SNMP 服務。

Resolution

若要確認名稱解析是有問題的，可以使用 DD FQDN 在代理伺服器上執行 nslookup 命令。如果未返回IP位址，則確認問題是名稱解析。

有兩種方法可以解決名稱解析問題。

1.在 DNS 伺服器中建立 A 記錄，以便成功解析 FQDN。

2.將 DD 新增至代理伺服器上的主機檔案，並確定已啟用 O/S 以檢查主機檔案和 DNS。
