Cause
Network misconfiguration, such as MTU mismatches between the ESXi hosts, switches, and the PowerStore, are known to cause this issue.
Resolution
A few options to resolve the issue:
Test the connectivity using VMware KB: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1003728
- Ensure the ESXi hosts, Switches, and PowerStore all have valid and consistent MTU settings for the recommended MTU size of 9000.
- If this is not possible, change the ESXi host and the PowerStore storage network MTU to default 1500 (not recommended). Settings > Network IPs > Storage, select the relevant storage network then Reconfigure.
