De EMC PowerPath Viewer voor Windows wordt niet ondersteund voor gebruik met het nieuwe PowerPath Virtual Appliance voor licenties. De EMC PowerPath Viewer is ontworpen om te werken met de oude PowerPath ELMS Windows-licentiesoftware.

De nieuwe PowerPath Virtual Appliance 2.1 heeft een ingebouwde PowerPath monitor die vergelijkbare functionaliteit biedt als de PowerPath Viewer:
