Installatie PowerFlex-beheerplatform Kan fluxtoolkit niet installeren

Síntomas

Scenario

In dit scenario heeft de gebruiker een PowerFlex 16G-apparaat en brengt deze zijn eigen Red Hat Enterprise Linux-image mee voor de MVM (PFMP)-knooppunten.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10

De PFMP-installatie mislukt in de tweede fase bij 74%.

De volgende fout wordt weergegeven in de bedrock.log:

fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false

Impact 

Kan PFMP niet implementeren.

Causa

CMO vereist UMASK 022 voor de juiste opstelling van de Helm-kaarten. UMASK 027 biedt root met rwx-machtigingen, de groep met rx-machtigingen en geen machtigingen voor anderen.

Resolución

Oplossing:

Wijzig de UMASK-waarden op alle drie de MVM-knooppunten (PFMP).

UMASK wijzigen in 0022:

  1. De UMASK-waarde bijwerken 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. Laad de configuratie:
source /etc/profile
  1. Verlaat de shell en log opnieuw in

De meest recente configuratie is bijgewerkt. #Testen: Als u een nieuw bestand maakt, wordt het gemaakt met 644-machtigingen.

Nadat de waarden zijn gewijzigd:

  • Het PFMP-installatieprogramma resetten
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • Het PFMP-installatieprogramma instellen
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • Start de PFMP-installatie
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


In de releaseopmerkingen van Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x staat het volgende (pag. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
