Symptoms

Web UI not accessible after DD OS upgrade Trying to get to the webpage and getting status 404 Not found.

Cause

Root CA, which is not expired, is no longer trusted. This prevents the PowerProtect DD System Manager (DDSM) from loading or successful login. 

The issue is not limited to the following DD OS versions:

  • DD OS 8.4
  • DD OS 8.3
  • DD OS 7.13.1.40

Resolution

Regenerate the Root CA of all Data Domains listed in the "Error connecting to remote host: Mutual trust may have to be reestablished between" log entries. Use instructions in the following article to regenerate the CA.
