You may see a yellow exclamation mark against PCI Simple Communication Controller in Windows (Figure 1).

Updating the latest Chipset version on the computer helps resolve the issue. To download and install the latest Chipset:
- Browse to the Dell Drivers & downloads page.
- Select the Operating System.
- Under Category, select Chipset.
- Locate the latest Intel Management Engine Interface Driver or Intel Management Engine Components Installer Driver.
- Click Download and save the file to your computer.
- Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved.
- Double-click the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Note: A separate device, such as a Bluetooth or wireless device, may also cause this conflict in Device Manager if the specific hardware driver for that device is not installed. You can use the instructions in the following article to use the hardware ID to search for and find this needed driver:
