증상

Upgraded Java JRE.

When trying to access Unisphere for VNX via SPA in a web browser the following message is received:

Msg"Java is required for this application to run..."

Java is required for this application to run. The JRE Requirements for this application are the following:

Minimum JRE Version: 1.6

원인

Either Java is not installed on the system being used to access Unisphere, or an unsupported version of Java is being used.

해결

As of March 2016, currently Unisphere for VNX will support anything from 1.6 U45 to 1.7 U45.

Alternatively, you can download and install the Unisphere Windows client from support.emc.com rather than using a web browser.
