Data Domain File System (DDFS) potrebbe riavviarsi con errore segfault o errore grave con malloc durante lo spostamento dei dati nel cloud tier
Questo problema è applicabile a tutte le release di DD OS 7.7.0.x e la correzione è inclusa in DD OS 7.7.1.0 e versioni successive

System will report either of following message and ALERT  if DDFS restarts with PANIC  error

Dell Technologies ha identificato un difetto di codice nella funzione di spostamento dei dati cloud che comporta il riavvio di DDFS con l'errore SEGFAULT o PANIC precedente.

Per evitare il riavvio di DDFS durante lo spostamento di dati del cloud tier, prendere in considerazione l'aggiornamento a DDOS 7.7.1.10 o versione successiva, 7.7.2.0.10 o versione successiva, 7.8.0.20 o versione successiva

Procedura:

1. Sospendere il processo di spostamento dei dati nel cloud
      # data-movement stop
      # data-movement status
              
2. Riavviare il file system
               # filesys restart
     
3. Verificare che il file system sia abilitato
               #filesys status
              
4. Aggiornare il sistema a DDOS 7.7.1.10 o versione successiva, 7.7.2.0.10 o versione successiva, 7.8.0.20 o versione successiva.
5. Riprendere il processo di spostamento dei dati nel cloud
               # data-movement start
