Avamar GLR-plugin-modulene for Hyper-V, Exchange, SharePoint og SQL (TLR) har en innebygd tredjepartsdriver "ELDOS-driver".

Denne komponenten er nødvendig for å montere Avamar-sikkerhetskopibanen til en database for å utføre GLR- eller TLR-operasjoner som senere ble fullført med Itempoint-verktøyet.

Denne ELDOS-driveren er på en tidligere versjon som ikke har de nyeste forbedringene for å støtte nyere Windows-operativsystemer (Windows 2022 og nyere). Dette forårsaker feilene nevnt ovenfor.

Som en konsekvens av dette støttes ikke GLR- eller TLR-gjenoppretting for Windows 2022 og nyere, noe som også gjenspeiles i Avamar-støttematrisen.
