증상

In PPDM kan de detectie mislukken bij het uitvoeren van een detectie van een Microsoft SQL Server-asset met de volgende fouten: 
ADA0002: Unable to discover ASSETS on host  because of an agent issue.
Unable to perform applications discovery because agent failed to create the discovery session.
Of 
ASDS0018: Discovery of Assets failed on the host  for AddOn MICROSOFT_SQL_DATABASE_SYSTEM.

In het DPSApps\AgentService\logs\OpAgentSvc* logboek wordt de volgende fout geregistreerd: 
ErrCode: -2147467259, Error: SSL Provider: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.

원인

De fout wordt veroorzaakt omdat 'Force protocol encryption' is ingeschakeld op de SQL Native Client-configuratie onder SQL Server Configuration Manager.

해결

Volg de onderstaande stappen om het probleem op te lossen:

  1. Open de SQL Server Configuration Manager
  2. Klik met de rechtermuisknop op SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration en selecteer eigenschappen.
  3. Stel de waarde force protocolversleuteling in op Nee en selecteer OK.
  4. Voer dezelfde stappen uit voor de SQL Native Client 11.0 Configuration (32-bits) configuratie
  5. Start de SQL Server opnieuw op
  6. Zodra de SQL-server actief is, voert u Discovery uit vanuit de PPDM-gebruikersinterface.

Soms kan het nodig zijn om de Agent uit te registeren of te verwijderen en opnieuw te installeren om de detectie te laten werken.
