Exchange ActiveSync configuratietool kan communicatie met Policy Proxy niet configureren

Bij het uitvoeren van de EAS-configuratietool voor het instellen van Exchange ActiveSync-beheer terwijl de Exchange ActiveSync-webapplicatie is geconfigureerd om in de IIS Classic-modus te worden uitgevoerd, treden er communicatiefouten op en wordt het volgende bericht weergegeven:

"Failed to add the OTASync module declaration."

Log entry: 2014-08-25 12:03:32,971 ERROR Credant.EASConfig.EASMDConfig I[] T[1] - Failed to setup the modules section System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Credant.EASConfig.EASMDConfig.AddIISModuleSection()

Niet van toepassing

U kunt dit probleem omzeilen, indien mogelijk, met de geïntegreerde modus van IIS.

Als alternatief kunnen de bestanden web.config en EASMailboxManager.exe.config worden aangepast om het probleem op te lossen.

Ga naar de EASConfigUtility.log via het volgende pad (c:\Program Files\Dell\EAS Configuration Utility\EASConfigUtility.log) op uw Exchange Server.

1. Het PolicyProxy-adres moet worden ingesteld op het IP-adres of de hostnaam van de Policy Proxy zoals ingevoerd in de gebruikersinterface van de server bij de installatie.
2. Voeg in het web.config-bestand onder <configuration> het volgende toe:

under <system.web>, add the following:
     <httpModules>
         <add name="OTASyncControl" type="Credant.OTASync.OTASyncModule, OTASyncControl, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5d874789881803c4" />
</httpModules>

in the EASMailboxManager.exe.config file, under <configuration> add the following:
   <configSections>
           <section name="ExchangeManagementConfig" type="Credant.ExchangeManagement.ExchangeManagementConfigSection,
 EASMailboxManager"/>
    </configSections>
    <ExchangeManagementConfig>
          <ServiceSettings startupdelay="5" />
          <PolicyProxies pollinginterval="1">
                <PolicyProxy address="localhost" port="8090"/>

         </PolicyProxies>
  </ExchangeManagementConfig>
