Avamar: Avsql Error 11962: The selected database requires a tail-log backup to correctly perform point-in-time recovery

Redirected restore where database restoration with a different name and different location is failing with the below errors:

avsql Error <11962>: The selected database requires a tail-log backup to correctly perform point-in-time recovery. Database instance_name/database_name will be skipped.

avsql Error <11958>: All targets were excluded from restore. Skipping Point-in-Time recovery.

Tail-log backup option is not applicable for redirected restore where we are restoring to a different database name, location, or server.

This error is due to incorrectly selecting a backup which has a date and time earlier than the point-in-time provided for restoration.

For redirected point-in-time restores, provide a point-in time which is later than the backup date and time that is selected for restoration.

Example:
Backup is available at 8AM and at 9AM.
Point-in-time restore is at 8:30AM.
Select the backup at 9AM for restoration with Point-in-time details 8:30AM in Advanced Options for redirected restores.
