Oorzaak
The previous Java uninstall left behind a file:
"C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment\DeploymentRuleSet.jar"
Oplossing
On the NMC client, rename or remove the "C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment" directory.
