Symptomen

Quando si tenta di eseguire un comando setfacl su un host Linux su un file o una directory in un'esportazione NFSv4 di Unity montata, il comando ha esito negativo: 
[root@hostname xyz]# setfacl -m g:mygroup:r-x testfile
setfacl: testfile: Operation not supported



Oorzaak

setfacl non funziona con NFSv4.

Oplossing

È necessario utilizzare i comandi nfs4-getfacl/nfs4-setfacl sul mount NFSv4. Il setfacl non funziona con NFSv4.

Per rendere disponibili questi comandi, è necessaria

l'installazione del pacchetto "nfs4-acl-tools package".Esempio per distribuzioni basate su Debian (Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Etc.): 
[root@hostname xyz]#apt-get install nfs4-acl-tools
[root@hostname xyz]#

[root@hostname xyz]#mount
192.168.1.14:/Test on /tmp/nfs type nfs4 (rw,relatime,vers=4.1,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,clientaddr=192.168.1.15,local_lock=none,addr=192.168.1.14)
[root@hostname xyz]#

 [root@hostname xyz]#nfs4_setfacl -R -a A:g:10001:rW /tmp/nfs

 [root@hostname xyz]#nfs4_getfacl /tmp/nfs

A:g:10001:rwaDtTNcCy
A:g:10001:rwaDtTNcCy
A::OWNER@:rwaDxtTnNcCy
