PowerFlex: Background_Scanner_Compare_Error reset_scanner_error_counters

An SNMP trap is continuously sent: MDM.Storage_Pool.Background_Scanner_Compare_Error The PowerFlex log from the gateway server shows the following message streaming:

Check the events log from the Primary MDM for any device scanner errors: For example:

The root cause is because the background device scanner counters are not zeroed -zeroed the counter to stop the messages.

 reset_scanner_error_counters


Reset background device scanner error counters for the specified storage pool or device. You can use this command to reset
counters for comparison errors, read errors, or both counter types.


Syntax
