Symptoms

Avamar-søppelhentingsprosessen (GC) mislykkes med: 

ERROR: <4202> failed garbage collection with error MSG_ERR_BADTIMESYNC

Cause

Klokkeslettet synkroniseres ikke mellom én eller flere Avamar-datanoder og Avamar-verktøynoden.

Dette fører til at Avamar-vedlikeholdsaktiviteter mislykkes.

Resolution

1. Logg på Avamar Utility Node som administrator.

2. Last inn administratornøklene. Se Avamar: Slik logger du på en Avamar-server og laster inn ulike nøkler for mer informasjon om lasting av nøkler.

3. Kontroller at klokkeslettet er synkronisert på tvers av alle Avamar-noder: 

mapall --all --parallel 'date'

4. Hvis klokkeslettet ikke er synkronisert, følger du Avamar: Hvordan endre NTP på en Avamar-server Bruk asktime til å synkronisere tid på tvers av alle noder.

5. Når klokkeslettet er synkronisert, kontrollerer du at søppelsamlingen er fullført.
