  • Ejecución df -h mostró que data01 tenía un tamaño más pequeño que otras particiones, pero tenía un 37 % de capacidad mientras que los demás tenían un 9 %

Cause

La partición /data01 es de 250 G, mientras que las otras son de 1 TB, por lo que su utilización es mayor que las demás. Avamar no soporta tener diferentes tamaños de partición de datos en el mismo AVE.

Hay una nota allí en la misma página:
"Because the AVE .ova installation creates three 250 GB partitions along with the OS disk, approximately 900 GB of free disk space is required at installation. However, the AVE .ovf installation does not create storage partitions during installation. Therefore only enough disk space for the OS disk is required at installation, and subsequent storage partitions can be created on other datastores"

Resolution

En este caso, se debe implementar un nuevo AVE de 4 TB (con 6 particiones de datos de 1 TB, sin particiones de 250 GB). Luego, replique todos sus datos en el nuevo sistema.

 

Additional Information

El nuevo despliegue sería responsabilidad del equipo local y de los servicios profesionales.
