• Met fs-perc Toont een groot verschil tussen Data01 en de andere partities:

• Met df -h toonde aan dat data01 kleiner was dan andere partities, maar voor 37% vol was, terwijl de andere 9% waren

Partitie /data01 is 250G, terwijl de andere 1 TB zijn, dus daarom is het gebruik hoger dan de andere. Avamar biedt geen ondersteuning voor verschillende datapartitiegroottes in dezelfde AVE.

Aangezien dit een AVE van 4 TB is, moeten er zes gegevenspartities zijn (elk 1 TB); bron: https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/en-us/products/data-protection/technical-support/docu91853.pdf ("AVE virtual disk requirements", pagina 17)

Er is een opmerking daar op dezelfde pagina:
"Because the AVE .ova installation creates three 250 GB partitions along with the OS disk, approximately 900 GB of free disk space is required at installation. However, the AVE .ovf installation does not create storage partitions during installation. Therefore only enough disk space for the OS disk is required at installation, and subsequent storage partitions can be created on other datastores"

In dit geval moet een nieuwe AVE van 4 TB worden geïmplementeerd (met datapartities van 6 x 1 TB, geen partities van 250 GB). Repliceer vervolgens al hun data naar het nieuwe systeem.

De nieuwe implementatie zou de verantwoordelijkheid zijn van het lokale team en de professionele diensten.
