PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) initiële Application Aware back-up mislukt

In het logboek van de PPDM UI-taak wordt het volgende weergegeven:

Cause

Er is op een bepaald moment een eerdere versie van de Microsoft SQL Application Direct-software geïnstalleerd. Toen het uit de computer werd verwijderd, bleef het oude lockbox achter. De huidige versie van de software is niet in staat om oudere lockboxes bij te werken.

Dit probleem kan zich voordoen wanneer oudere versies van de software zijn gebruikt of wanneer er back-ups zijn gemaakt van Microsoft SQL Application Direct naar back-ups van VMware Application Aware.

 

Resolution

  1. Naam van de lockbox-directory wijzigen

    ren  C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox,previous

  2. Probeer de back-up opnieuw te maken

Opmerking: De lockbox-directory wordt aan het begin van de volgende back-up opnieuw gemaakt.
