Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager （PPDM） 初始应用程序感知备份失败

PPDM UI 作业的日志显示：

Cause

在某个时间点安装了以前版本的 Microsoft SQL Application Direct 软件。从计算机中移除密码箱时，留下了旧密码箱。软件的当前版本无法更新较旧的密码箱。

在使用较旧版本的软件或从 Microsoft SQL Application Direct 备份转换到 VMware Application Aware 备份的情况下，可能会发生此问题。

 

Resolution

  1. 重命名密码箱目录

    ren  C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox,previous

  2. 重试备份

提醒：密码箱目录将在下次备份开始时重新创建。
