  <Description><![CDATA[A storage volume reported a Thin Provisioning Soft Threshold Reached error on a VPLEX write.

 

Cause

VPLEXがホストからシン プールからプロビジョニングされたシン ストレージ ボリュームにSCSI書き込みコマンドを送信すると、ストレージ アレイは、ストレージ プールの容量が不足していることを示すUnit Attention 6/38/07h アラートをVPLEXに返すことがあります。

ユニットアテンションは、ストレージ アレイが動作状態の変化を他のデバイス(VPLEXなど)に伝えるために使用できるセンス キーです。VPLEXは、このユニット アテンション アラートを受信すると、この通知をオートコールで報告し、症状コードID 0x8a2d30aaの警告として報告します。このオートコールはVPLEXの問題を示すものではなく、VPLEXの背後にあるアレイで閾値を超えたことを示します。VPLEXは症状をレポートしているだけです。
 

Resolution

この問題を解決するには、ストレージ管理者に、問題をレポートしているバックエンド アレイ上のシン プールにブロック リソースを追加するか、ソフト閾値(アレイでサポートされている場合)を現在の使用率よりも大きい値に増やしてもらいます。
