Announcement

The Dell BSAFE Product Team announces the general availability of Dell BSAFE Micro Edition Suite 5.0.2. This release embeds the Dell BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition 4.1.5 FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module.

Fixes for the following issues are being addressed in this release:
  • R_SC certificate verification callback does not allow override of chain building errors.
  • R_SC_AUTH_PKIX_ALLOW_COMMON_NAME not working for weak certificates that are missing Subject Alternative Name extension.
  • Incorrect return result when r_sock_ntoa() is called with R_SOCK_F_PORT.
  • Micro Edition Suite does not reject EC certificates containing explicit curve parameters.
