Symptoms

An error is immediately displayed when creating a new repository using Update Manager Plugin.

One or more online catalogs could not be downloaded successfully due to network issue or invalid file or sign check failure.

Extracting the tomcat application log from the console log bundle shows the following error:

Cause

During the recent catalog promotion, the index signature file was invalid. This causes a signature validation exception when the repository creation wizard tries to index the Dell Online catalogs.

Resolution

Dell Technologies is aware of an issue during catalog file promotion where the signature file is incorrect. The signature file has been regenerated and repromoted to correct this issue.
