Symptoms

Die PowerProtect Data Manager-Appliance wird verwendet, um die vSphere-Umgebung mit der VM Direct Engine-Lösung zu schützen. Die VM Direct Engine-Bereitstellung in einem Cluster einer demilitarisierten Zone (DMZ) schlägt während der Initialisierungsphase fehl. Der Status des Systemjobs zeigt Folgendes an:

ProxySession unsuccessful during initialization. Unable to deploy and verify the vProxy my-proxy.my-domain.com. Unable to query vProxy status after 'Deploy'. Request unsuccessful. Unable to connect to External vproxy 'my-proxy.my-domain.com' on port '9090', the host service is not running.

Cause

Die PowerProtect Appliance hat keinen Zugriff auf die VM Direct Engine über Port 9090.

Resolution

Die Umgebungsfirewall oder das Netzwerk muss so konfiguriert werden, dass die PowerProtect Appliance über die Ports 22 und 9090 mit der VM Direct Engine kommunizieren kann.
