Симптомы

An unnecessary debug message is displayed in the JESMSGLG when running the DELEXP command.

The message text is: GET_ZDP_LOCK FAILED TO PROCESS REQUEST

Причина

An unnecessary debug message is displayed in the JESMSGLG. The message text is:
"GET_ZDP_LOCK FAILED TO PROCESS REQUEST"

Разрешение

Permanent Fix:
  • For Mainframe Enablers 10.0.0, PTF SFA0030 is available to address the issue. Download the PTF from Dell Technologies Online Support.
  • For Mainframe Enablers 8.5, PTF SF85195 is available to address the issue. Download the PTF from Dell Technologies Online Support.
The application of the relevant PTF removes the debug message from JESMSGLG.

DELEXP
Deletes an exported VDG or target set definition from the Symmetrix File System (SFS) without deleting the corresponding definition from the running zDP instance.

The DELEXP command is available when the zDP GLOBAL command EXPortDEF option is set to YES or AUTO.

Syntax
DELeteEXPorted {VDG=vdg_name|TGT=tgtst_name}

Example
DELEXP VDG=ABCDEF
