Príčina

On DDVE-based platforms, disks are monitored by the underlying PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC) and iDRAC Lifecycle Controller.

  • Any disk fault, failure, or predictive failure detected by these components is passed up the virtual stack (Hardware → ESXi → DDVE).
  • The system then generates the corresponding alert.

Riešenie

Replace any disk reporting a hardware fault or predictive failure.
Contact Dell Support or your authorized support provider to arrange a replacement.
