Oscillating_failure_counters are used to trace the all-time number of networks flapping between nodes, and to understand if this is an ongoing problem or a historical problem; counters must be reset. 

Resetting oscillating_failure_counters on the Primary MDM

  1. Log in to the Primary MDM with SSH
  2. Log in to the cluster with  
    scli --login --username admin
  3. Perform the following command  
    scli --reset_oscillating_failure_counters --all_counters --all_sdc
  4. Will prompt you to enter 'Y" to approve this certificate and add it to the truststore.
  5. When finished, update inventory on Gateway
