Removing the keyboard

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. SSD
    4. WLAN card
    5. WWAN card
    6. coin-cell
    7. display
    8. system board
  3. To remove the keyboard:
    1. Disconnect the keyboard cables from the connectors on the system board [1, 2].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard to the computer [3].
    3. Lift the metal tab away from the computer [4].
