Removing the Keyboard Trim

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the keyboard trim at the back of the computer.
    2. Pry up the keyboard trim on its sides and the top edge.
    3. Lift upwards and remove the keyboard trim from the computer.
