Desktop Dock Features

This section provides information about the features available on the Desktop dock.

3Power status lightIndicates the power status.
4Docking connectorConnect the docking connector on the tablet.
5Power connectorConnect the AC adapter.
6USB 3.0 connectorsConnect USB devices, such as flash memory.
7Network connectorConnect an Ethernet cable for internet access. The network-connector port supports the 10/100 Ethernet cable.
8HDMI connectorConnect HDMI-capable devices such as projectors, TV’s, and monitors.
9DisplayPort connectorConnect DisplayPort-capable devices such as projectors, TV’s, and monitors.
  • NOTE: DisplayPort output supports only direct DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort or active DisplayPort adapters.  Passive adapters are not supported by DisplayPort.
  • NOTE: The desktop dock is sold separately and is not shipped with the tablet.
  • NOTE: When you connect your tablet to HDMI connector or DisplayPort connector, you can select the following options on the external display:
    • Tablet only
    • Duplicate
    • Extended
    • External only
