Removing the Audio Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. SD memory card
    2. battery
    3. access panel
    4. keyboard trim
    5. keyboard
    6. optical drive
    7. right base panel
    8. palmrest
    9. bluetooth module
  3. Disconnect the audio board flat flex cable from the system board.
  4. Remove the screw that secures the audio board in place.

  5. Remove the audio board from the computer.
