Removing the base cover

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer
  2. Remove the SIM Tray :
  3. To remove the base cover:
    1. Loosen the M2.5xL8.5 captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer [1].
    2. Pry the base cover from the edge [2] .
      NOTE:You must use a plastic scribe to pry the base cover from the edge [2].

  4. Lift the base cover away from the computer.
