Removing keyboard

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. microSD card

    2. base cover

    3. battery

  3. To remove keyboard:
    1. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board [1].
    2. Use the plastic scribe to the release the keyboard [2].

    • NOTE: The two release holes for the keyboard are indicated by the "KB" labeling.
  4. Slide the keyboard outwards, away from the computer. Slide the keyboard
    • NOTE: Carefully pull the keyboard connector through the gap in the palm rest.
  5. Lift the keyboard away from the computer.Removing keyboard
