Installing the left fan
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the left fan and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Connect the fan cable to the system board.
- Align the screw holes on the fan (FAN1) with the screw holes on the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Replace the two (M2x4) screws and the single (M1.6x4) screw to secure the fan (FAN1) to the system board and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
