Removing the coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
  3. Open the front bezel door.
  4. To remove the coin cell battery:
    1. Using a plastic scribe, release the coin cell battery until it pops out.
    2. Remove the coin cell battery from the connector on the system board.
