Removing the Keyboard

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. keyboard trim
  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the screws at the back of the computer and flip the computer over.
    2. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard to the computer.

  4. Perform the following steps:
    1. Slide the keyboard and flip the keyboard over [1] and [2]
    2. Disconnect the keyboard cable [1] and [2] and lift the keyboard to remove from the computer [3].
