Removing the Power Connector

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. SD card
    2. battery
    3. base cover
    4. keyboard trim
    5. keyboard
    6. memory
    7. hard drive
    8. optical drive
    9. WLAN card
    10. display hinge
    11. palmrest
    12. ExpressCard cage
    13. system fan
    14. system board
  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Remove the power-connector cable from the routing channels.
    2. Lift and remove the power connector from the computer.
