Removing the WWAN daughterboard
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the SD memory card.
- Remove the SIM card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Disconnect the battery cable.
- Remove the WWAN card.
Steps
- Open the latch and disconnect the WWAN daughterboard cable from the WWAN daughterboard.
- Remove two (M2x3) screws that secure the WWAN daughterboard to the palm rest and keyboard assembly [1] and then lift the WWAN daughterboard card away from the palm rest and keyboard assembly [2].
